Final Fantasy 7 Remake (from 40.99 € at Buy) Intergrade has been available for PC players for several days. In contrast to the version for the PlayStation 5, however, you can see on the computer with some technical problems facing the game fun again and again.
John Lineman from the technology analysts Digital Foundry e.g. called the PC port terrible. The title has only rudimentary graphics settings — so it is e.g. not possible to disable the dynamic resolution. Although the modding scene has already been remedied for this, many players expect more than 80 euros simply.
In addition to the lack of graphics options, the game on many machines is unfortunately not very good. For example, users complain about annoying bucklers on Twitter and other problems. Digital Foundry's Alexander Battalion had to fight, for example, with bucklers, though he used an RTX 3090. As PC Gamer reports, Buckler appears mainly in lifting areas in which a variety of NPCs is.
However, there is also evidence of how the frame rate problems can be combated: you should play the remake in DirectX-11 mode. For this, you only have to call up the settings of the EPIC GAMES STORES, select Final Fantasy 7 Remake Intergrade and enter -dx11 with other command line parameters — but HDR is disabled. Accordingly, only patience remains until Square Enix feeds a patch that addresses the problems.
